ABOUT ME

Hey there!

I am Camila, founder of Sweet Tangerine Newborn Care. I am originally from Brazil and first moved to the U.S. as an Au Pair, but my story as a caregiver didn't start there.

I've been working with children since 2011 when I started teaching preschool. Since then, I have always been involved in the area of ​​education and child care. When I moved to San Francisco, I also had the opportunity to work as a nanny taking care of infants and toddlers.

Being around babies and kids, and teaching them to develop and become amazing humans is a big part of me. I have dedicated myself to learning more and specializing in newborn care, which is the area that I love the most, especially now that I became a mom myself.

Additional to my vast experience, I have a Master's degree in education science and many complementary courses in the area, such as Newborn Care Specialist, CPR, and first AID.

When I am not working, you can find me spending time with my daughter Olivia, my husband Brian, and my furry baby, a 9-year-old Pitbull, Kujo. We love hiking, picnicking in the park, watching series and movies on the sofa while eating ice cream, cooking together, and especially going out to dinner.
