  • What is a newborn care specialist?

    Newborn care specialist, is a professional trained and specialized in newborn care from birth to 12 months to provide support and orientation to the new parents. Usually works at night shifts to provide the parents the much needed rest in this very special and exhausting experience.

  • What is included in the service provided?

    • Help the parents from day one to settle at home, giving assistance and orientation in the first weeks or even prevail at the birth.

    • Sleeping conditions - Help to keep a good environment for the baby to sleep.

    • Hygiene - bath and change diapers.

    • Provide a routine and consistency for a good development.

    • Provide proper stimulation in the wake window hour for a good brain and physical development.

    • Baby laundry.

    • Clean bottles and pumping tools.

    • Help with breastfeeding and/or formula feeding.

    • Any other children, pets or household duties are not part of the specialist care.

  • For how long do I need a newborn care specialist?

    Depends on the family needs, but usually the contracts can be 2 to 12 weeks.
